Pilgrim Senior Center to resume in person activities for the first time in over a year

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- The City of Warwick announced on Wednesday that the Pilgrim Senior Center will be heading back in the direction of normal.
The senior center will begin resuming in person activities starting on May 17, when it hosts a stitcher’s workshop.
The weekly activity schedule is as follows:
- Monday: Stitcher’s Workshop 1-3 p.m.
- Tuesday: Quilting and Needlecraft 9-11 a.m.
- Wednesday: Yarnigans 9:30-11:30 a.m.
- Thursday: Painting 1-3 p.m.
- Friday: Pilgrim Theatre Stars 10:30 a.m., Knit Wits 1-3 p.m., Poetry Readers 1-2 p.m.
The Quilting and Needlecraft class costs three dollars, but all other activities are free.
Participants are required to pre-register by calling 401-468-4071.
Face masks will be required at all times and participants will be screened before entering the senior center.
