Plainville Police remind residents of road closures ahead of Field of Dreams Road Race

PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — The Plainville Police Department said that officers have placed No Parking signs ahead of the Field of Dreams Road Race scheduled for June 22.

The signs have been placed on Cowell Street, Everett Skinner Road, George Street, School Street, Highland Avenue, Grove Street, Pleasant Street, Spring Street, Broad Street, Wintergreen Lane, and Sharene Lane.

Police said the temporary parking order will be in effect from midnight on June 22 to midnight on June 23.

The department added that the order is aimed at easing congestion during the road race, fireworks, and other activities.
