Plainville teen will go on trial for encouraging her boyfriend to commit suicide

Massachusetts’ highest ruled that the grand jury has probable cause to indict Michelle Carter in the death of Conrad Roy.

Roy committed suicide in a K-Mart parking lot in Fairhaven back in 2014.

Carter sent him dozens of text messages telling him to get back in a truck filled with carbon monoxide fumes.

Despite her lawyers arguments, the grand jury says her instructions in his final moments were a direct link to his death.
