PROVIDENCE, R.I. — You could soon see skyscrapers in the providence skyline.

Plans were unveiled Monday to build a three residential high rises on the former 1-95 land.

A New York City based developer is calling the project “Hope Point Towers.”

The towers would border Peck and Dyer streets and the whole project is nearly 50,000 square feet, according to providence business news.

“I like the fact that it’s surrounded by so many good things…the growing firms that are already there…and I hear will be coming in,” said developer Jason Fane.

The three high rises would be 33, 43, and 55 stories high.

That would dwarf the current tallest building in providence, the Superman Building, which sits at 26 stories.

The developer says the total projected costs for hope point towers are not yet available.
