Plymouth County DA releases identity of suspect accused of killing two teenagers in Brockton shooting

BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz released the identity of the suspect accused of killing two teenagers in a shooting this weekend.

22-year-old Davinci Leonard was charged with two counts of murder, carrying a loaded firearm, and carrying a loaded firearm without a license.

According to the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office, police have obtained an arrest warrant for Leonard, who allegedly shot two teenagers at the parking lot of Westgate Mall in Brockton on March 22.

The victims have been identified as 15-year-old Tymari Albertson and 18-year-old Cevannah Alvarez.

Leonard was added to the Massachusetts State Police Commonwealth Fusion Center’s Wanted List for the murders, and the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office said to “use caution as this suspect may be armed and dangerous.” Additionally, police have not have found the firearm.

Massachusetts State Police and the Brockton Police Department continue to search for Leonard.
