Police: 8 gravestones vandalized at local cemetery

WARREN, R.I. – Police are investigating after 8 gravestones were vandalized at the South Burial Ground.

Some gravestones were broken and some were brought down to the floor.

Police say the stones, located along Franklin Street, were vandalized last week.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 401-245-1311.
