Police arrest two suspects in cell phone store attempted robbery

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence police have arrested two suspects in the attempted robbery of a Cricket Wireless store Monday.

Isaiah Dalomba, 22, and Temilolluwa Akano, 20, both from Pawtucket, were arrested and charged with assault with intent to commit a felony and conspiracy.

According to police, the suspects locked the door behind them after entering the story and a brief altercation occurred before they fled in a black Nissan Altima.

Police were able to track the Altima to the Riverside section of East Providence through surveillance video and victims’ statements.

The suspects were found in the vehicle, positively identified and placed under arrest.

The suspects were presented as bail violators on previous criminal charges and were transported to the ACI pending arraignment.
