Police ask for help from the public as search for man wanted in wife’s death stretches on

GARDNER, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts authorities asked for help from the public Friday as they continued their search for a Gardner man accused of killing his wife.
Massachusetts State Police and Gardner police will search Lake Wampanoag, which is near the spot in Camp Collier where a car belonging to Aaron Pennington was found this week.
Police said while no information points to Pennington being in the lake, they want to investigate all options.
Pennington, 33, is wanted for a murder charge in connection to the death of his wife, Breanne Pennington.
Police found Breanne shot to death in their Cherry Street home on Sunday morning.
The couple’s four children had gone to a neighbor’s house.
Authorities believe Pennington is alive and has been on the run.
He is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who sees him or has information on his location is asked to call 911 immediately.
