Police bust two illegal gambling rings in Providence

Providence Police arrested 9 people in two illegal gambling ring busts.
Investigation revealed they were involved in sports betting and a Dominican lottery.
In an announcement Thursday afternoon, police and Mayor Jorge Elorza said the 7-month long investigation led to the discovery of over $69,000 and a quarter kilo of fentanyl, which is worth about $60,000.
