Police: Domestic assault leads to chase, searching for suspect

Pawtucket, R.I.-  A police chase through several communities ended in Pawtucket at the corner of Marble and Weeden St.  The chase started around 9:30 pm when police in Lincoln got a call about a possible domestic assault inside a vehicle at the intersection of Great Road and Wilbur Road.

Police say when the arrived on scene they found the vehicle driving south on Great Road and tried to pull it over. The vehicle, operated by 18-year-old Gregory Heath of Pawtucket, fled police leading them on a chase into Pawtucket where he struck a Lincoln Police cruiser on Weeden Street. 

After hitting several more vehicles, Heath fled the car on foot. A female victim in the car was uninjured. 

Police say Heath is wanted for a 24 hour Domestic, a violation of a No-contact order, and several motor vehicle violations on both Lincoln and Pawtucket.
