Police: City councilor involved in car accident

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE)- New Bedford Police are investigating after a city councilor was involved in a crash Saturday morning.

Police said the crash happened at around 1:30 a.m. on South Water Street. Hugh Dunn was on scene when officers arrived.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to police.

The crash is under investigation.
