Police confirm a 21-year-old man was shot in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – ABC 6 is learning that a  21-year-old man was shot on Carleton St. tonight. The victim was the passenger in a vehicle and was driven to the Engine 5 Fire Station on Mount Pleasant Avenue.

We are told the victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
