POLICE: Cranston man arrested for DUI with a child in the car

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A Cranston man has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk with a child in his vehicle, according to the Rhode Island State Police.

Alan S Chhim, 22, was arrested Sunday night after a crash on I-95 in Pawtucket and was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, driving under the influence of liquor child passenger under 13 years old, carrying a weapon while intoxicated and several other charges.

Chhim was transported to the Rhode Island State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks and was held for a pending arraignment.
