Police, FBI investigating in Coventry

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — A large police presence gathered in Coventry on Tuesday morning.

The area is around the same location law enforcement and FBI officials were investigating last week. 

ABC6 news crews also observed crime scene tape blocking off parts of the road on Gadoury Avenue.

According to Coventry police Captain Ryan DeSisto, the police presence last week was part of an ongoing Coventry police investigation.

DeSisto did not provide any additional details on the nature of that investigation.
