Police identify Providence homicide victim

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Police have identified the victim of a Providence that occurred early Saturday morning as, 35-year-old Delron Fields.

Major David Lapatin said police responded to the Dunkin Donuts at 315 Broad Street around Midnight Saturday where the incident happened..

Upon police arrival, they found the victim dead in the parking lot.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
