Police identify Providence shooting victim, say he was also targeted a year ago

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police have identified the victim of last night’s shooting. 

Keith Singleton was killed around before 8:00 p.m. on Monticello Street.

The shooting was Providence’s 11th homicide of the year.

According to Chief Oscar Perez, Singleton was also the target of another shooting last year in Providence.

Police are actively investigating as the shooter still remains at-large.
