Police identify suspect in Braintree, Plymouth stabbings
BRAINTREE, Mass. (WLNE) — Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz released the identity of the suspect in multiple stabbings that took place in Braintree and Plymouth on May 25.
26-year-old Jared Ravizza was charged with assault with intent to murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police said that the suspect allegedly entered the Braintree AMC around 6 p.m., entered a theater without paying, and stabbed four juvenile girls “without any warning.”
Ravizza then fled in a black SUV, went to a McDonalds in Plymouth, and then stabbed a man through the drive-thru window and woman inside the restaurant.

Massachusetts State Police pursued the suspect vehicle, which failed to stop and eventually crashed in Sandwich.
Police said the incidents appear related. The suspect is being treated at an area hospital.
