Police identify victim in Bristol crash

BRISTOL, R.I. (WLNE) — Bristol Police have identified the man who was killed in the parking lot of a pizza restaurant yesterday.

59-year-old Mark Carroll died after he was hit by a car in the parking lot of Pizza Wave on Metacom Ave. around 5:28 p.m. Monday.

He was a resident of Bristol, police said.

He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, but died.

Police are investigating the circumstances that led up to the crash.
