Police investigate after a strange encounter in Wakefield

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) – Police are searching for a dark green, older model Dodge pick-up truck (late 1990’s or early 2000’s) driven by a 30-40-year-old male, after a suspicious encounter with two juvenile males.

On Tuesday May 29, two males were walking in the area of Holley Street in Wakefield, when they each separately encountered the individuals in the truck.

In both encounters the driver asked the juvenile for directions, the proceeded to invite them into the vehicle.

The occupants of the vehicle, a male and a female, are both described as 30-40-years of age. The male is described as white, medium to larger build, with wavy hair and also some facial hair. The female passenger, who was topless at the time, is described as white with reddish hair.
