Police investigate fatal highway crash involving Attleboro man
PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – Rhode Island State Police are currently investigating the fatal crash of a 19-year-old man.
At approximately 5:50 AM on Thursday, Troopers with State Police, as well as Pawtucket Police and Fire, responded to calls for a crash on Route 95 South near Exit 27.
Police say the car being driven by Osman Eduardo Lopez-Enriquez, of Attleboro, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it veered left and struck the jersey barrier in the center median.
The car rolled over.
Lopez-Enriquez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
