Police investigate shooting in Woonsocket

Woonsocket Police are searching for the suspect in shooting that occurred Thursday night.

Crews responded to a report of shots fired at about 11:40 p.m. in the area of Arnold and Sayles Streets.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim in a parking lot with two gunshot wounds to the leg. The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating.
