Police investigating after 20-year-old shot in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Police are investigating potential gang activity after a man was shot early Wednesday evening.

Sources tell ABC6 News an unidentified 20-year-old male was shot just before 5:30 p.m., in the area of Prairie and Oxford Avenue.

The victim was reported to have non-life threatening injuries. 

No further information is available at this time.
