Police investigating after child hit and killed by school bus in Boston

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Boston police are investigating after a child was hit and killed by a school bus in Hyde Park Monday afternoon.

According to WCVB, Boston police said it happened around 2:44 p.m. near the intersection of Washington Street and Glenwood Avenue.

Boston police said the child was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

Other children on the bus were taken to local hospitals to be evaluated.

According to WCVB, police said the bus driver stayed on scene.
