Police investigating after man shot, killed in Wareham

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Wareham Police Department and Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office are investigating after a man was fatally shot on Monday.

According to Plymouth County DA, Tim Cruz, the investigation is active and ongoing and it is not believed to be a random act of violence.

Photographer David Curran shared video from the scene of police cordoning off a large area around a home on Main Street with crime scene tape.

Investigators could be seen working in and around the house.

Information about the suspected shooter was not immediately released.
