Police investigating armed robbery at Cranston gas station

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE)- Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Cranston gas station early Tuesday morning.

Cranston Police confirmed they were called to the 7-Eleven on Reservoir Avenue.

Police say a man entered the store wearing a ski-mask and a hoodie, armed with a gun, and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect fled northbound on Reservoir Avenue towards Providence.

The incident remains under investigation.
