2 arrested in connection to Taunton homicide

TAUNTON, M.A. (WLNE) — Police have made two arrests in connection with a murder at a Taunton home Wednesday. 

Taunton Police responded to a call on Wednesday afternoon around 3:45 p.m. on White Street for a report of a disturbance, where they found a man suffering from a stab wound.

50-year-old Robert Hickey was transported to Morton hospital late Wednesday afternoon where he was pronounced dead from a stab wound.

After some investigation the Bristol County DA’s office said they had arrested two people in connection to this stabbing.

37-year-old Richard Mulcahy who has ties to Taunton, Weymouth, and Florida is charged with murder and armed robbery.

35-year-old Danielle Delory of Taunton is being charged with armed robbery.

Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Taunton District Court later Thursday morning.

Authorities remained on scene throughout the night as police searched for more evidence.
