Police investigating homicide in Taunton

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bristol District Attorney’s Office said that state and Taunton police are investigating a homicide after a man’s body was discovered Saturday morning.

The body was discovered in a shed on Highland Street around 10 a.m.

Police determined the victim had been shot to death and were not releasing the name as next of kin had not been notified.

The District Attorney’s Office said the investigation is extremely active.
