PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Police in Rhode Island are investigating a possible break-in at a congressman’s home.
Providence police confirmed Wednesday that they had responded to a call of a break-in at U.S. Rep. David Cicilline’s house in the city.
There was no immediate word on whether anything was stolen. Cicilline was not at home.
His spokesman said the Democrat was in Washington on Tuesday because the House was in session.
He deferred additional questions to police.
