Police investigating serious East Providence motorcycle crash

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Police in East Providence are investigating a serious motorcycle crash.

It happened near the intersection of Waterman Avenue and Anthony Street Wednesday night.

Police said the motorcycle’s driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

The driver of the other car stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. There are no charges against that driver at this time.

Accident reconstruction teams were also called to the scene.
