Police investigating shooting in Fall River
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said it was investigating a shooting that took place on South Main Street and Slade Street Saturday.
Police responded to the area to find a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip.
The victim was transported to a local trauma center for treatment.
A male suspect was taken into custody, and the department said there was no threat to the public.
