Police investigating shooting in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Detectives are investigating after a man was shot late Saturday night in Pawtucket.

The Pawtucket Police Department said officers responded to Galego Court for a report of shots fired around 10:30 p.m.

Police arrived to find a man who had been shot, taking him to the hospital with a reported non-life-threatening injury.

Officials did not offer any information on a suspect Saturday night but said the incident remains under investigation.
