Police investigating shots fired in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Police are investigating shots fired in Pawtucket on Tuesday night.

The Pawtucket Police Department said officers responded to the intersection of Ferris Street and Ashburne Street for a report of shots fired.

Authorities said six shell casings were found in the roadway, adding that police did not locate any victims or property damage.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
