Woonsocket shooting leads to firearms arrest

Police are investigating a shots fired incident in Woonsocket Monday morning.

The incident occurred on Carrington Street. No word on any injuries.

As a result of the investigation into the shooting, police arrested 26-year-old Garyn O’Hagan, of Woonsocket on charges of Possession of a firearm with an altered serial number and Possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence.

Police say O’Hagan is not being charged in the shooting at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
