Police: Landlord arrested a third time after disturbance

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE): A landlord, accused of attacking his tenants for not paying their rent, has been arrested a third time, due to a separate incident, according to the Warwick Police Department.
Frank Marr, 65, was arrested on Monday and charged with disorderly conduct after Warwick Police responded to a disturbance call at his home on Larochelle Avenue.
According to police, residents in the same home he lives in called police after they were receiving threats from Marr.
On Saturday, Marr was also arrested after police responded to the home for similar calls involving some of the same residents, according to police.
“Some of our officers heard the threats and took him into custody,” Major Michael Gilbert said.
According to Gilbert, the threats were all verbal. Marr was arraigned by a bail commissioner on Saturday and released on $2,000 surely bail, according to the police department.
Marr was held by a judge as a bail violater until May 26th. He will have a violation hearing at that time.
ABC6 News first reported Marr was arrested last week when tenants at a home on Suburban Parkway claimed they were threatened and attacked for not paying rent, capturing the exchange on camera. We spoke to Marr who said he was provoked and heard the tenant had no plans to pay his tent.
Marr will face a judge for the first two incidents on September 3rd.
In total Marr now faces 1 count of simple assault and 3 counts of disorderly conduct.
