Police look into 3 robberies in 3 cities overnight

Police are investigating three robberies over the span of 3 hours Tuesday night.
The first happened in Cranston at 9:20. No details were immediately available about the nature or location of the incident.
Then, at midnight, Providence Police were called to Café Lucca on Allens Avenue where there was an attempted armed robbery. The suspect was a male with a dark hoodie, black ski mask, and black shorts with red stripes. He was carrying a black gun.
A half hour later, Warwick Police responded to an armed robbery at the Cumberland Farms on Warwick Avenue. There, a man with a black hoodie, black ski mask, and grey sweatpants walked in with a silver handgun and demanded cash. He took off with an undisclosed amount of money but surveillance was able to catch an image of him. He is described as a white male, approximately 5’10”, of medium build and with blue eyes.
Police said it’s unclear at this point if the robberies are related.
