Police looking for suspect after mailboxes found destroyed in Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — Mansfield police are investigating after a series of damaged mailboxes were discovered over the weekend. 

According to officials, officers took reports of damaged mailboxes along the portion of East Street east of Route 106, including Mill, Squire, and Ephriam.

Police said a victim captured a suspect, referring to them as  “Juan Soto working on his off-season,” at around 1 a.m. Sunday morning, swinging at a mailbox.

Mansfield police said if your mailbox was damaged to contact the Mansfield police at 508-261-7300 x8.
