Police make third arrest in connection to shooting of teenage girl in Easton

EASTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Easton Police Department said detectives have made a third arrest in connection to the shooting of a 16-year-old girl in Easton on Jan. 14.
19-year-old Antonio Fonseca, of Brockton, was charged with assault and battery with a firearm, armed robbery, carrying a firearm without a license, and possession of a large capacity firearm.
On Jan. 14, a 16-year-old girl was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the parking lot of her home in Easton. Police said she survived but is still recovering from “significant injuries.”
Police executed an arrest warrant for Fonseca Friday morning and took him into custody outside his residence.
Anthony Lopes and Xavion Barnes have also been charged in connection to the shooting.
Fonseca is expected to be arraigned on Friday in Fall River Superior Court.
