Police: Man arrested in shooting outside Woonsocket home

Woonsocket Police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting Tuesday afternoon.
Lorenzo Dominiques Hicks-Hinson, 27, of Woonsocket, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, altering identification of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a permit and firing a weapon in a compact area.
Officers responded to 419 Diamond Hill Road at 1:30 to learn that some type of altercation took place outside that home.
Police say the altercation involved Hinson, the victim and a woman.
The victim was sent to Landmark and then transferred to Rhode Island Hospital, but his condition is unknown.
