Police: Nearly 70 grams of crack and cocaine found on New Bedford woman during traffic stop

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said a New Bedford woman has been arrested after being found with 70 grams of crack and cocaine during a traffic stop.
28-year-old Daria Cananzey was charged with allegedly trafficking cocaine after being arrested during the traffic stop.
Police said on Aug. 17 around 12:30 a.m. an officer pulled over a black Cadillac sedan for having a revoked registration for being uninsured on route 24 South in Bridgewater.
During the stop, Canazey was in the rear of the vehicle and was ducking out of sight according to police.
The officer removed her to search her and found nearly 70 grams of crack and cocaine hidden in Cananzey’s sweatshirt.
Cananzey was arrested and the vehicle was towed away.
Canazey has been scheduled to be arraigned at the Brockton District Court for the charge.
