Police presence around apartment in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department has set up a perimeter around a building on Pontiac Avenue after receiving reports of a man with a gun inside.

The department said the man is reportedly suicidal and officers have been attempting to communicate with him.

Police added that no one else is inside the apartment and it is still an active scene.
