Police release identity of Mansfield man killed in crash

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police released the name of the Mansfield man killed in a motor vehicle crash in Wrentham on Aug. 2.

50-year-old Jose Ocasio died from injuries he sustained after a crash on Route 1.

Police said a car attempted to make an abrupt U-turn from the center lane when another vehicle struck the driver’s side.

The driver of the car that attempted the turn was Ocasio.

The other driver was not injured.

Police said the incident is still under investigation by the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
