Police request witness footage in route 95 fatal shooting
NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police are asking the public for assistance in the investigation of a homicide that happened Saturday night.
Police are asking for any dashcam or other video footage captured Saturday, Feb. 3, between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. along Rte. 95 South from Waltham to the Rhode Island line, or along the Rte. 3/93 corridor from Boston to Weymouth, through Milton and Canton, to 95 South.
The driver may have merged from one of those directions onto 95 South around 9:20 p.m., officials said.
Detail on the appearance of the car is not being released at this time.
“We are not asking people to go back through their video footage themselves and make determinations of any kind – we are asking them to call so that we can arrange to have police view the footage,” District Attorney Morrissey said. “Given where we are in the investigation, this could lead to identifying the shooter who killed Justin R. Parker.”
In a further update, the family in the SUV did not sustain any injuries.
Anyone with information can contact the District Attorney at (781) 327 – 9801.
