Police respond to fatal shooting on I-95 in Foxborough

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Police responded to a fatal highway shooting in Foxborough on Saturday night.

Massachusetts State Police say a male victim was killed in the incident involving two vehicles traveling southbound on I-95.

Authorities say one of the vehicles came to a stop after the shooting, and responding officers found the driver with gunshot injuries around 10:05 p.m.

The man was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing and in a very early stage.
