Police respond to single-vehicle crash in Smithfield

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — Douglas Pike in Smithfield is down to one lane after a crash on Tuesday afternoon.

ABC6 News crews on scene reported seeing a car with extensive damage, as well as police and firefighters on scene.

A medical examiner’s van arrived on scene just before 4:30 p.m.
