Police respond to stabbing at Walgreens

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)– A suspect in custody after a stabbing in Providence overnight on Tuesday.
According to a Providence city spokesperson, a man was stabbed in the parking lot of the Walgreens on Pocasset Ave. shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim, a 42-year-old man, had two minor arm wounds from the attack, and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
The suspect fled on foot before police arrived at the scene.
According to the spokesperson, police located and apprehended the suspect, a 30-year-old man, at a nearby McDonald’s.
