Police responding to Lincoln Woods State Park for missing woman found in East Providence

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — Police were seen responding to the area of Lincoln Woods State Park on Thursday night.
Rhode Island State Police aid they received a call around 9:30 p.m. reporting a 51-year-old woman who had spent the day at the park as missing.
Members of the state police, Department of Environmental Management, Lincoln Police Department, Lincoln Fire Department, Cumberland Fire Department, Smithfield Fire Department, North Providence Fire Department, and Central Falls Fire Department responded and conducted a land and water search.
Police said that the woman’s vehicle and belongings were found at the woods, but she was found unharmed in East Providence.
ABC 6 News crews on scene saw police vehicles entering the park as well as blocking off the entrance.
