EXETER, R.I. – Police believe weather was a factor in a rollover crash in Exeter Tuesday evening.
Authorities say a car hydroplaned after hitting a large puddle around 7:30 p.m., on Route 2
From there, police say the car lost control and crashed into a telephone pole, then rolled over onto a roof.
Power lines were knocked down, and the road was blocked off for about 40 minutes while National Grid fixed the issue.
The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries; the car however, was taken away by a tow truck.
