Police search for man responsible for New Year’s Day crash that killed Providence woman

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE)- Lincoln police are searching for a man who is responsible for a New Year’s Day crash that killed a woman from Providence.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for 42-year-old Gregory Miller, who fled the scene on foot.
Officers responded to reports of a crash on Cobble Hill Road near Lladner Driver at about 2 a.m.
Police said that 34-year-old Nanleomariz Albizu, of Providence, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
She was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Investigators said that the Nissan Altima was driving eastbound, drove off of the road, went airborne, and hit two telephone poles.
Miller is wanted for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
