Police search for stabbing suspect who left 1 man injured in Providence

The Providence Police department is searching for a stabbing suspect who left one man injured.
The Providence Police Department tells ABC6 they responded to an incident on Cornplanter Row and Friendship Streets around 6:30 pm on April 18, to a 25 year old man who received wounds to the right bicep, chest and back.
The victim was taken to Rhode Island hospital and is in stable condition.
A woman says her son was fighting with the man who was stabbed. He was taken into custody on a simple assault warrant.
Officials say no arrests have been made at this time.
