Police search for suspect in Woonsocket bank robbery

Police are searching for the suspect in a bank robbery in Woonsocket Wednesday.

The Santander Bank on Social Street was robbed around 1 p.m. The suspect fled the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a tall white male with a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a tan hat with sunglasses over the brim.

Police say no weapon was shown and no threat was made.
